Many people imagine an artist's life to be solitary, but Randell's home is always bustling with enthusiasm, excitement, ideas and new paintings as she opens her home and studio to her many students throughout the year.

Originally from Montreal and withdegree in Fine Arts from Concordia University, Randell travelled and painted her way across Europe, Turkey North Africa, Britain and several Meditarranean islands for over six years, and continues til today. Randell paints 7 hours a day and is working on a series with material from her recent travels to Ireland, Scotland, England & The Netherlands.

Randell's watercolours are highly detailed, with intense colour that capture a strong sense of light, atmosphere and realsim. Her architectural works and still life paintings have made her an award winning International artist. Her achievements include: exhibitions at Syirling Castle, Scotland, the National Gallery of Watercolours in Mexico City,the University of Indiana, beinhg featured on CTV's Regional Contact and havingthe honour of being juried into the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour. Randell's next collection of works will be double & multiple protraits of people around the turn of the 21st century, in their typical everyday  settings. The first in the series won the President's Award at the Ottawa Watercolour Society,the second one President's Choice and Best In Show awards. Randell was asked to greet Prince Charles last November, along woth 12 other members of the CSPWC, and is now completing a painting of the  event.
Randell's works are in both private and corporate collections throughout the world.
